How to rotate the crosshair in Autocad? Rotating a crosshair in Autocad can sometimes has so many uses. It is also a cool autocad trick to play with and could lead to a technique that could solve your drafting problems. To rotate a crosshair in autocad, do the following steps:

in Autocad:

1. Right-click the SNAP button on the Status bar
2. Then choose Settings.
3. Enter a angle value say 30 degrees.
4. At this point you should see that your crosshair is now positioned in that angle.
There are also other ways to rotate the autocad crosshair.
1. You can also use the snapang command in autocad.
2. Type in snapang and enter a degree value say 45.
3. To reset the value back to 0. Just type in snapang and enter 0.
4. The crosshair should be back to its normal orientation at this point.
